Celebrate our new rector!

The Rt. Rev. J. Neil Alexander, Bishop of Atlanta, will celebrate a "Renewal of Ministry and Welcome of a new Rector" on Thursday, April 17th at 6:30 p.m.
By the grace of God, St. Andrew's in the Pines has a permanent rector! All are invited to join us for this festive service celebrating the ministry of St. Andrew's in the Pines and The Rev. Paul Courtright Elliott. A reception will follow in the parish hall.

Paul has been a friend of this Episcopalian family for many years since his stewardship and ministry of the youth program @ St. Martin in the Fields, our parish. He guided both our sons in the acolyte program and allowed Mike "early entry" knowing that his big brother (by 7 years) would be his little brother's mentor. Our congratulations to your parish and the entire Diocese in adding Paul as your Rector. Godspeed to you, Father Elliot.
(And by the way, those 2 "boys" you ministered-- and Rev. Glenna Reed helped "re-direct"-- turned out OK. Nick is 26, a Lt. in Air Force Special Forces currently in Afghanistan and Mike is 19, about to finish his "prep year" at the United States Merchant Marine Academy.)
