The Rev. Paul C. Elliott, Rector
The Reverend Paul C. Elliott, 40, is a graduate of Birmingham Southern College and earned a master of divinity degree at the General Theological Seminary in New York City. A native of Huntsville, Ala., Elliott is married to the former Susan Farmer Langley. They have three children, Quincy Bassett, 17; Elizabeth, 10; and Kathryn, 8.
During seminary, Elliott was sponsored by All Saints' Episcopal Church in Atlanta. He was ordained a priest in 1996. His first assignment was as associate rector and chaplain to the school at St. Martin's Episcopal Church in northeast Atlanta.
While at St. Martin's, Father Elliott began studies at the Candler School of Theology at Emory University, working toward a doctorate in pastoral counseling. In 2003 he became a full-time counselor at the Care and Counseling Center of Georgia near the Emory campus.
"We're excited," said St. Andrew's senior warden, Richard Bearden. "He's young and vibrant. We've had a tremendous response since his arrival." Father Elliott and the parish invite you to join them for worship and fellowship at St. Andrew's in the Pines.
